Welcome to my Web site and thank you for taking the time to look at a sample of my work. My name is Julie Miller, and I am currently a junior at the University of Oklahoma. Writing and people are my passion, so I am blessed to be able to combine the two into feature stories that give the world a glimpse of other people’s lives.

I was born in Garland, TX, and have one older sister who is in medical school. My mother encouraged us both to become avid readers and thus nurtured my love of stories. I decided a long time ago that I wanted feature writing to be my niche because of the writing style. It really grabs you, and takes you into someone else’s life that you probably never would have thought to say hello to before.

I will graduate in May 2010, with a bachelor’s degree in Journalism, but hopefully I will have the opportunity to share many people’s stories before then.
